8x11" oblong cake

1In a large mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients.
2With a fork mix all the ingredients up until it's all combined together.
3Make 3 holes in the mixture for the vanilla , oil and the vinegar.
4Pour the COLD water all at once in and mix using a fork only.
5Do not over mix , mix just enough to combine . You do not want to get out every little lump , just mix to break up all the flour clumps.
6Pour into a ungreased cake pan.
7Pound the cake on the counter to settle the cake and pop any bubbles that formed from mixing.
8Bake in a preheated oven @ 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the center of the cake ; set aside and let cool before frosting the cake.
9This cake is delicious with or with out frosting and you can also dust it lightly with powdered sugar...enjoy.
