I wish that I could say I was the genius who created this delicious, rich, fudgy and easy to make frosting. However, I cannot tell a lie so I must confess and give credit to my sister Sherry! And, did I mention how easy it is to make and what a crowd pleaser it is? Well, if you love chocolate, if you love easy and if you love getting compliments, then you have to serve this yummy frosting at your next gathering. I promise that you will be so glad you did!
1Put powdered sugar in bowl and add milk. Stir to blend.
2Add vanilla to sugar mixture and blend.
3Put butter and chocolate chips in a microwaveable safe bowl and heat just enough to melt butter and chocolate. Do not overheat! Stir to blend.
4Add chocolate and butter mixture to sugar mixture and blend. The chocolate will firm up when cooled making frosting spreadable. If necessary, add more milk, a tiny bit at a time, until frosting is the right consistency to frost cake.
