Ingredients

CLASSIC BUTTER CREAM

6 Tbsp
butter, softened
2 Tbsp
shortening
1/4 c
milk
1/8 tsp
salt
3/4 tsp
vanilla or almond extract
1 lb (4 c.
confectioners' sugar

CHOCOLATE BUTTER CREAM

2/3 c
cocoa powder
3 Tbsp
more of butter
1/8 tsp
more of salt

FOR CHOCOLATE FROSTING USE VANILLA EXTRACT

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients EXCEPT 2 cups of the confectioners' sugar, blend well.
2Gradually add remaining sugar while mixing.
3Beat at high speed for 10 minutes.
4Cover while not in use. Do not refrigerate.
