Homemade banana-chocolate chip pancakes

I made these pancakes a little healthier than my original recipe, but they taste just as yummy! Kids love these:-) Calories: 230 for 2 pancakes

Stove Top

Ingredients

1 c
white whole wheat flour
1/2 c
white whole wheat flour
1/3 c
mini chocolate chips
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1 large
egg
1 c
buttermilk
1/2 c
buttermilk
2 large
ripe bananas, mashed
2 Tbsp
canola oil
1 Tbsp
sugar
1 tsp
vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

In bowl, whisk together flour, chocolate chips, baking powder, baking soda. In another bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk, banana, oil, sugar and vanilla.

Make a well in dry ingredients, add wet ingredients to well, mix until just combined. Let sit 10 mins, or until bubbly.

Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Place 1/4 cup batter in skillet, cook until bubbles form, then flip over. Cook another 2 mins, repeat w/ batter.
