Old Fashioned Maple Gingerbread

Great breakfast bread. There are a few rules when using Maple Syrup as a substitute for granulated sugar:
1 cup sugar= 3/4 cup Maple syrup
Reduce liquid by 2-4 Tablespoons per 1 cup of Maple Syrup.
Add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and change oven temperature by 25^.

Ingredients

1 large
egg
1 c
dairy sour cream
1 c
dark maple syrup
1 tsp
ground ginger
1/2 tsp
salt
2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
1 c
chopped walnuts

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients, pour into 9x5-inch sprayed loaf pan. Bake at 350^ for about 1 hour or until toothpick tested comes out clean.
Serve with maple cream or butter.
