Every year when I was a little younger I use to make home made Malasadas for Phat Tuesday. It was a 2 day event. But as I got a little older & much more busier. I found a short cut to making them. This is a easy cheat way to enjoy a sweet doughy goodness of Phat Tuesday

Ingredients

1-2 can(s)
refrigerated biscuits
1 c
sugar cinnamon mixture
3 c
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1In a large pot heat the oil over medium heat. Pop Open each biscuit can. In a medium size bowl or plate mix the sugar cinnamon mix & set aside.

2Carefully drop each biscuit into the hot oil. Deep fry them until golden brown on each side. 3-6 minutes

3Remove from heat. Drain off extra oil on paper towel lined plate.

4While warm roll each one in the sugar cinnamon & eat.
