pinch tips: How to Slice & Mince Vegetables Like a Pro

haas avocado
3 Tbsp
fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
8 dash(es)
hot pepper sauce (more or less to taste)
1/2 c
red onion diced small
1 large
clove garlic minced
1 tsp
kosher salt
1 tsp
black pepper freshly ground
1 medium
tomato seeded and diced small

Directions Step-By-Step

Cut the avocados in half, remove pits. Score the avocados thru the flesh to the shell in a grid pattern. Scoop the flesh out of the shells into a large bowl. Immediately add the lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss well ensuring lemon juice is well distributed over avocado dice. Add tomato. Mix well and taste for salt and pepper.
You can add some fresh jalapeno peppers if you have them and add cilantro if you wish! I like to add some fresh lime to this as well. This recipe is easily customized to your taste and liking.
