I use peroxide as it kills 99% of germs and has NO taste. I use a spray bottle and then rinse well. Cheap and efficient.

I rinse grapes, grape tomatoes, and bell pepper and let them dry on the counter. I clean green onions and celery just before using. I do not wash bagged broccoli/cauliflower/carrot mix.

Items like grapes, I let soak in cold water for a couple of hours and then drain. Broccoli I generally steam so it gets a quick rinse in the sink and then into the steam saucepan. Most fresh fruits that are consumed with the skin on (apples, pears, etc get the same treatment as grapes with and little white vinegar added to the water.

I like to use a bath of cool water and vinegar. Some think it leaves a residue of vinegar, but there is no flavor left on fruit. I can see the difference in the water, it is actually dirty. Believe this does the best job.

I prefer soaking my fruits with Fit Fruit and Vegetables Wash to remove chemicals and wax, then soak them in salty water to kill germs and bacteria.

Just a little critique sorry, when washing the strawberries you wash them in a colander not a cylinder.
