1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

1 small can Rotel mild (my twist)
•
salt and pepper to taste
•
2 medium zucchinis, thinly sliced (I peel them first, but that is a matter of preference)
•
1/2 can diced tomatoes
•
1/4 cup butter (I used more)
•
1/2 chopped onion (I added more)
•
1 cup bread crumbs (add more if you use a large dish, to cover the top of the casserole) I used white bread, that I tore into crouton-sized pieces.
