Ingredients

4 C. tender, young dandelion greens, shredded
4 slices bacon
3 Tbs. cider vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
pepper to taste

How to Make Wilted Dandelion Greens

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fry bacon until crisp, remove from heat. Save the bacon grease. Drain bacon and crumble on top of greens. Over medium heat, reheat bacon grease and add/mix all other ingredients. When hot, pour over greens. Toss until the greens are wilted. Serve immediately.
