½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
2 cups (476 g) heavy whipping cream
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch kosher salt
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling, (divided)
4 ounces white chocolate bar, (made into curls, divided)
fresh cherries, (for garnish)
