INGREDIENTS
***For the whiskey cake:***
flour, to taste, for dusting the tube pan
1 (13.25-ounce) package spice cake mix with pudding, such as Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Spice Cake Mix
1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3/4 cup 2% milk
3/4 cup whiskey
1/2 cup canola oil
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 1/3 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped, divided
***For the whiskey glaze:***
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/2 cup whiskey
1 teaspoon water
