2 medium cloves of garlic, minced

1 large carrot, chopped (no need to peel)
•
3 cups fresh mushrooms, chopped
•
One (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
•
1 Tablespoon tomato paste
•
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
•
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
•
1/4 cup fat-free skim milk
•
salt & pepper, to taste
•
1/2 pound dry whole wheat spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
