Now I didn't measure anything but they came out great
•
Chicken and Dumplings
•
Fill a stick pot with a couple cups of chicken stock or I just season water with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Add chicken and simmer until done. I used chicken breasts

Remove chicken and cut (or shred) into bite size pieces and add back into the pot with the cooking liquid still in it.

*Depending on the amount of dumplings you aee making you may need to remove some of the liquid.

Add a cup or two of milk to thw stock and bring to a boil.
•
While the liquid is coming up to temperature make dumplings. I used
•
1 cup flour, about 2 tablespoons baking powder, a teap of salt about 1/4 cup of lard.
•
Mix until crumbly and then add enough milk to make a dough
•
Drop by teaspoonful into boiling liquid. Reduce hwat to simmer, cover and so not remove the lid for 20 minutes. I know it is tempting to peak but Do Not Lift That Lid. LOL
