INGREDIENTS
1 - 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 red bell pepper (diced)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
1 carrot (grated)
1 zucchini (chopped)
1 cup mushrooms (optional) (finely chopped)
1 can crushed tomatoes (15 oz. can)
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbsp brown sugar (adjust to taste)
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp chili powder ((less if you are sensitive to spice))
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
salt and pepper (to taste)
hamburger buns or whole wheat rolls
sliced cheese ((optional))
pickles, lettuce, or other desired toppings
