1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup safflower, canola or grapeseed oil

1/3 cup blackstrap molasses
•
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups almond, soy, or rice milk

1/2 cup applesauce
•
2/3 cup coconut sugar, demerara sugar, or organic cane sugar
•
1 cup finely chopped, crystallized ginger (optional)
