3 – 4 sprigs of fresh thyme (or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried)

2 bay leaves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon flour (or arrowroot powder)
•
3/4 cup dry white wine (can sub with red for full-bodied flavor)
•
6 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
•
1/2 teaspoon pepper, fresh cracked black or white
•
1 baguette, sliced
