INGREDIENTS
Bottom of Pie:
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. corn syrup (or Rodger's Golden)
½ cup pecan halves
Pastry for 9-inch two -crust pie
Filling:
5 cups pared tart apples, thinly sliced
3/4 cup sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. salt
1 - 2 tsp. cream
