5 cups slightly under-cooked sticky rice (about 2 cups uncooked)

1 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper

2 tablespoons butter

1 medium onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)

1 tin tomato soup

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup wateroptional: 1-2 cups cooked ground meat (we always do without meat, but if you love meat, it is delicious to add this in with the rice). In this case, if you use meat, just use half the rice as is stated above.)
