Try Soy-Ginger Beef Kebabs With Rice on the Grill

"Make them on the grill!..."

INGREDIENTS
1/4 c. oyster sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. dry sherry or Chinese rice wine
3 tbsp. vegetable oil, plus more for the grill 
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. grated fresh ginger (from a 1-inch piece)
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 lb. beef sirloin, trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch cubes 
2 c. long-grain white rice
2 Japanese eggplants, cut into 1-inch chunks
2 green bell peppers, cut into 1-inch chunks
