Pot of water to boil the pasta
1 large onion

2 pounds lean ground beef
5 cups water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons salt
1 dash cinnamon
4 cups whole or 2% milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 egg yolks
salt and ground nutmeg to taste
