50 g sugar (1.7 oz, 4 tablespoons, )
2 tsp instant yeast (1 packet or 7 gr)
375 g all purpose flour (13 oz, 3 cups)
1 egg yolk (at room temperature)
1/2 tsp salt
75 gr butter (at room temperature, 2.6 oz, 1/3 cup)
1 tsp vanilla extract (1/2 cup)
120 g butter (1/2 cup, 4 oz, - cold from the fridge)
100 g slivered almonds (3.5 oz)
100 g sugar (1/2 cup, 3.5 oz)
