INGREDIENTS

3 sticks unsalted butter (slightly softened)

1 cup granulated sugar
•
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
•
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
•
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
•
1/2 teaspoon salt
•
2/3 cup toffee bits (I used Heath's Bits O'Brickle)
•
3/4 cup additional toffee bits for topping the cookies (optional)
•
powdered sugar or flour (for rolling)
