2 lbs fresh or frozen green beans (just snap the ends off and leave the beans whole)
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 large yellow onion, sliced in rings
½ cup toasted almonds, sliced or finely chopped
⅓ cup dried cranberries (optional)
¼ cup chicken broth
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
Salt
Pepper
