INGREDIENTS
15 ounce can black beans (, drained and rinsed)
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 small onion
2 cloves garlic (, peeled)
1 large egg (, beaten (*see note below))
2/3 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
salt and freshly ground black pepper (, to taste)
1 cup mayonnaise
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1 Tablespoon adobo sauce ((from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce))
2 teaspoons lime juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
hamburger buns
desired burger toppings: lettuce, tomato, etc.
