1 1/2 cups spicy, fruity cola soft drink (such as Dr Pepper)
1 cup vegetable or canola oil
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 Vegetable cooking spray
cups chopped toasted pecans
