A few years back my husband and I were able to travel to New York and do two episodes for Paula Deen’s show, Paula’s Party. It was seriously so much fun. We got to see a bunch of fun people on the show like, Carson Kressley, Cheri Oteri, Jason Pr

I thought I would show a quick picture of what it looks like under all of the cheese. It really is so yummy and so easy.

Usually I’m all about letting the soup sit under the broiler for a while so that the cheese starts to brown a little, but it was so late by the time my husband got home from work that we were starving so I only let the cheese melt.

*I always add a little extra broth to mine because the noodles absorb so much of it**

1 Pound Ground Chuck
•
1 Onion, Chopped
•
1 Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
•
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
•
1 (32oz) Box Low Sodium Chicken Broth
•
2 (14.5 oz) Cans Petite Diced Tomatoes
•
1 (15 oz) Can Tomato Sauce
•
1 Tb Brown Sugar
•
2 Ts Italian Seasoning
•
1/2 Ts Salt
•
2 Cups Broken Lasagna Noodles
•
3/4 Cup Fresh Grated Parmesan
•
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
•
Baguettes to serve with soup
