"I had 2 baked sweet potatoes left over and was going to eat them cold like I usually do when I was looking at the Orange Sparkling Sugar and thinking about the "No Kid Hungry In America" this month and decided just to make turnovers out of them. Of course you can substitute any squash like ButterNut, Pumpkin almost any of them. A tip when using puff pastry homemade or store bought you need to turn the cut side up. When you cut them just turn them over immediately. This keeps all your layers popping up and won't be flat. I put the orange sparkling sugar on these and they do look a little funny. They are so delicious though it doesn't matter what color they are...."
