Sweet Orange Scones

INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 Tablespoons white sugar
6 Tablespoons cold butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
For the filling:
Finely grated zest of 2 large oranges
1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
6 Tablespoons butter, softened (not melted)
1/2 cup white sugar
For the topping:
Leftover egg wash (see instructions)
4 Tablespoons sugar
