8 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
3/4 cup cider vinegar
2/3 cup tomato juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons dry red wine or apple juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
1 clove garlic, minced (1/2 tsp.)
1 12 ounce frozen shelled sweet soybeans (edamame), thawed
1 14 1/2 ounce can cut wax beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 ounce can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
4 large carrots, coarsely shredded
