For the Chicken Coating -

3-4 boneless chicken breasts (Mine were very large, so I only needed 2)

Salt and pepper
•
1 cup cornstarch
•
2 eggs, beaten
•
1/4 - 1/2 cup canola oil
•
For the Sweet and Sour Sauce -
•
3/4 cup sugar
•
4 tablespoons ketchup
•
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
•
1 tablespoon soy sauce
•
1 teaspoon garlic salt (or a little more if using garlic powder)
•
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
•
Additional Ingredient -
•
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
