1 tablespoon oil
•
1/2 medium yellow onion, minced
•
1 large clove garlic, minced
•
1 pound ground chicken or pork
•
1 1/2 pound ground chuck
•
6 tablespoons butter
•
1/3 cup all-purpose flour *See NOTE for an optional thickener.

1 (14.5 oz) less sodium beef broth
•
1 (14.5 oz) less sodium chicken broth
•
1 cup heavy cream
•
3/4 cup sour cream
•
1 teaspoon Beef Instant Bouillon Granules (I use Wyler’s)

1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
•
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
•
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
•
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
•
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
•
Salt, if needed. Taste first.
