INGREDIENTS
¾ cup whole wheat flour (or all-purpose)
½ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon instant coffee powder (optional)
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
3 large eggs (lightly beaten)
¾ cup maple syrup
1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Chopped strawberries (blueberries, raspberries, pomegranate seeds)
Chopped pistachios (pecans, walnuts, almonds, peanuts)
Shredded coconut
Sunflower seeds (pumpkin seeds or chia seeds)
Granola
