4 red peppers
300 g (0,7 lb) potatoes
4 small shallots, peeled and chopped
300 g (0,7 lb) Braunschweiger sausage (cubed)
3 tbsps cheese (grated)
100 g (1/2 cup) sour cream
1 egg
1 cooking spoon fresh marjoram, finely chopped
2 tbsps parsley (chopped)
1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
tabasco sauce
6 very ripe tomatoes
2 tbsps sugar
2 fresh bay leaves
5 tbsps olive oil for frying
2 tbsps pork dripping (melted) or vegetable oil
salt
ground pepper
caraway seeds (whole)
ground nutmeg
