1 ounce rum
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups apple cider or apple juice
