INGREDIENTS
SHRIMP, SWISS AND ASIAGO STRUDEL
Servings: 4 to 10
Depending on how you slice it, you can serve this strudel as an entrée or an appetizer.
Ingredients
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup shredded Asiago cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
4 ounces cooked shrimp, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
few drops hot sauce
Directions
Roll thawed puff pastry into an 18-by-10-inch rectangle.
Mix cheese, sour cream, green onion, shrimp and some of the egg (reserve the rest for step 4.)
Spread the mixture lengthwise down half of the rectangle, leaving a half-inch border on edge.
Brush the edges of the pastry with the remainder of the beaten egg.
Fold dough over, then seal the edges using your fingers or the tines of a fork to crimp. Move the strudel to a large baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until light brown.
Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
EASY APPLE CINNAMON STRUDEL

This easy recipe modifies the classic apple strudel recipe so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time doing… one of the 80 million other things on your list. Get going!
Ingredients
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
2 tablespoons apple juice
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, divided
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
Directions
Cook prepped apples in a pot with the apple juice flour and 1/4 cup of the brown sugar until fork tender, but still slightly crisp. Remove from heat and cool.
In a bowl, mix apples, walnuts, raisins, cinnamon, and the remaining 1/4 of the brown sugar.
Roll thawed puff pastry into an 18-by-10-inch rectangle.
