Strawberry Pound Cake

1 1/2 cups unsalted butter (3 sticks) (at room temperature)
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs (at room temperature)
3 cups, plus extra to coat the pan all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups fresh strawberries (stemmed and diced)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
1-3 tablespoons milk or cream
