INGREDIENTS

Cupcakes:

3 cups all-purpose flour
•
1 tablespoon baking powder
•
½ teaspoon salt
•
2 sticks (1/2 pound) unsalted butter
•
2 cups granulated sugar
•
6 eggs
•
2 tablespoons lime zest
•
½ cup milk
•
green food coloring, optional*
•
lime wedges, optional for garnish
•
*If you decide to use food coloring, you only need a few drops to get that nice Lime color. You can add however much you like to get the shade of green you want.

Frosting:
•
1 cup butter, softened
•
6 Tablespoons strawberry syrup
•
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•
3 cups powdered sugar
•
2 tablespoons tequila, optional
