Strawberry Dumpling Dessert

Strawberry Dumpling Dessert was pinched from <a href="http://easteuropeanfood.about.com/od/crossculturaldesserts/r/strawberrydumpl.htm" target="_blank">easteuropeanfood.about.com.</a>

"Strawberry Dumpling Dessert was a fast, warm dessert my mother could make quickly when local strawberries were plentiful. We couldn't get enough of it. The word "dumpling" used in this context is a little misleading. This sweet biscuit topping is similar to the savory biscuit topping or "dumplings" on stew. The result is a variation of cobbler or a one-pan shortcake. Any fruit can be used and this is especially good with blueberries and peaches, but my mother always used strawberries and I like it that way best. View this larger image. Makes 6 generous servings..."
