1/4 cup (1 3/4 ounces) granulated sugar
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped (optional)
Filling
3/4 cup packed (5 1/4 ounces) dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
