1 pound (450 g) dry spaghetti
1 tablespoon (15 mL) olive oil
5 ounces (150 g) diced pancetta or bacon (about 1/2 cup/125 mL)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon (5 mL) ground black pepper, plus extra for serving
3 large eggs
1/2 cup (125 mL) grated pecorino Romano cheese, plus extra for serving
1 cup (250 mL) frozen green peas
Salt
2 tablespoon (30 mL) chopped fresh chives or green onions
