3 tablespoons Aleppo Pepper (or substitute 4 teaspoons crushed red pepper plus 4 teaspoons sweet paprika)

2 cups full fat plain yogurt, preferably with pectin. I suggest Stonyfield Farm Smooth & Creamy

3 tablespoons tomato paste
•
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
•
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon kosher salt
•
2 unpeeled lemons, sliced into thin rounds
•
12-14 garlic cloves, flattened and peeled (see info on how to flatten and peel garlic)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
•
3-6 cups turkey broth or low-salt chicken broth
