INGREDIENTS
Dough:
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup buttter
1 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup sliced green onions (about 6)
1 jalapeño, diced
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked black beans
1 teaspoon orange zest
Optional: 1 egg for glazing the empanadas
