1 pound ground beef
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 yellow or orange bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 14 ounce can petite diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
best homemade chili powder ((highly recommended))
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
2 cups rice
1 46 ounce bottle V8 100% Vegetable Juice (about 5 1/2 cups)
