INGREDIENTS

2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 medium carrots, peeled and small dice
•
2 medium celery ribs, small dice
•
1 medium yellow or sweet onion, chopped
•
4 garlic cloves, minced
•
24 oz. can or jar of pasta sauce of choice (I used Hunt's Four Cheese)
•
32 oz. chicken broth
•
14.5 oz. can of diced tomatoes (I used low sodium)
•
½ lb. ground sirloin
•
½ lb. ground pork
•
½ C. grated parmesan cheese
•
½ C. Italian bread crumbs
•
1 large egg
•
3 T. chopped fresh parsley leaves
•
¼ - ½ lb. spaghetti, broken in half
