INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter, room tempt.
1/2 cup butter-flavored shortening
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
5 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1-2 teaspoons pure lemon extract
5.3 oz lemon yogurt
1/2 cup buttermilk
zest of 2 lemons
Juice of 3 lemons
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
LEMON SIMPLE SYRUP
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tablespoon lemon juice (can more if you want more tartness)
LEMON VANILLA GLAZE
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoon lemon juice (may need more)
splash of vanilla extract
Garnish, lemon zest & fresh whipped cream
