Ingredients

4 lb
hamburger meat
1 small
white onion
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes
1 large
bottle tomato juice
2 Tbsp
vinegar
3 Tbsp
sugar
1 can(s)
chili beans
5 medium
carrots, sliced
3 medium
celery stalks, cut up
1/2 pkg
frozen corn
1 can(s)
peas
1 can(s)
green beans
1 small
cabbage head, cut up
5 small
potatoes, cut up
3 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 1/2 bottle
water (tomato juice bottle)

How to Make Vegetable Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown the meat with the onions. Drain good. In an extremely large stock pot add the meat to all the vegetables (except potatoes) and pour the tomato juice over it, along with 1 1/2 bottles of water. Cook on high until it boils. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 hours. Add the potatoes about 45 mins before finished cooking.
  • 2Serve with hot cornbread for the perfect dinner!
