  • 1 box brown rice, quick-cooking, vegetable and herb flavored
  • 5 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups mung bean sprouts

How To Make vegetable and herb rice oriental soup

  • Step 1
    Cook contents of box according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    Add the soy sauce, oil and lemon juice; stir and let simmer 5 minutes more.
  • Step 3
    Add the sprouts and just heat through.
  • Step 4
    More soy sauce may be added to taste.
