1Please Note: The good thing about this recipe you can omit or add any of the veggies that you like or don't like. (let your own personal taste decide)
Also you can increase or decrease the amount of veggies ... this in not an exact measure recipe that you must follow ... you be the judge of what you want.
If using the potatoes , I usually cook them seperate and add them to the hot soup just before seriving.
2In large 6 quart soup pot brown and crumble ground beef ... remove excess grease if too much. Add 4 cups of water and the dry onion soup .. cook on medium heat for about 3-5 mintues .. add chopped cabbage and canned tomatoes ... continue cooking on medium heat for additional 15 minutes. Add carrots and all but 1 cup of water ... cook medium for 10 minutes ... add remaining veggies of your choice cook on medium until tender ... add tomato soup , rinse cans with 1 cup of water , add spices and cook until soup begins to boil ... lower heat and cook an addtional 5-10 minutes... add "cooked" diced potatoes to hot soup. Before serving spoon desired amount of pasta into individual bowls.
3Serve with hot buttered breads, biscuits ,
