trish's taco soup
This is a recipe from my dear friend Trish Harper. When I worked at Harper Motors years ago this was a favorite for everybody at the dealership to enjoy! Me and Olivia (37 Buick) at Harper Motors.

Ingredients
- SOUP
- 2 pounds ground beef or vension
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cans yellow hominy, undrained
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes, mexican
- 1 can ro-tel tomatoes
- 2 cans pinto beans with jalapenos, undrained
- 1 package dry ranch dressing mix
- 1 package taco seasoning mix

Step 1Brown meat and onions, drain fat.

Step 2In large pot, mix the hominy, stewed tomatoes, Ro-Tel tomatoes, pinto beans, dry ranch dressing and taco seasoning add browned meat and onions. Heat on low until hot.

Step 3Note: This freezes well.
